Agworld

At Agworld, we’re always looking for ways to improve the workflows for agronomists and growers. With planning and in-field decisions often needing to be made on the spot, two new features are here to help you work more efficiently than ever: Rapid Variable Rate Prescriptions (VRx) and Nutrient Load Preview. Together, they deliver greater speed and flexibility, so you can make the best possible recommendation at any time.

From map to VR prescription in Seconds

Customers who use both Agworld and PCT can now generate variable rate prescriptions directly from the Agworld maps page. No exporting, no importing, no extra steps; just seamless VRx creation built into the tools you already use.

Users can hit “runRx” against supported layer types - which will then direct user to PCT url where user can complete missing details to complete creating Rx. Once complete, the Rx file is displayed in existing Agworld precision workflows.

Key benefits

  • Efficiency: Everything for rapid VR prescriptions happens in Agworld. Say goodbye to switching between platforms for this workflow.
  • Speed: Create VR prescriptions in minutes.
  • Ease of use: The intuitive workflow lives inside the familiar Agworld maps interface.
  • Precision: Target individual layers such as soil zones, yield maps, or imagery to tailor decisions with accuracy.

Real-world use cases

  • Fast, single-field prescriptions: Need a one-off VRx without building a full plan? Now it’s possible.
  • On-the-go flexibility: Create or adjust prescriptions while out in the field or during grower consultations.
  • Layer-specific adjustments: Make quick decisions based on soil variability, imagery insights, or yield history.
  • Creating multiple scenarios: Need to offer your grower clients 3 different scenarios? Create multiple quotes and prescriptions for a grower to choose from is now easy.

The result? More time spent focusing on agronomy and outcomes, and less on administration.

Smarter fertiliser decisions with Nutrient Load Preview

With 50% of all activities including fertiliser, understanding nutrient contributions is essential. That’s why we’ve brought Nutrient Load Preview to Agworld on the web, giving you instant visibility as you add or adjust fertiliser inputs.

Agworld

How it works

As soon as you enter fertiliser details in an activity, you’ll see nutrient loads (NPKS + micros) updated in real time, with no saving or page reloading required. This means you can immediately see both per-input and total contributions, helping you make smarter recommendations and avoid unnecessary back-and-forth.

Why you’ll love it

  • Smarter recs: See exactly how each fertiliser shapes the nutrient profile.
  • Faster workflows: Skip the old save/close/reopen loop.
  • Consistency across platforms: This popular iOS feature is now available on web too, creating a seamless experience for all users.
  • And this is just the beginning: We’re already working on integrating this with our rate optimization tools, so you’ll soon be able to plan, adjust, and optimize all in one place.

What this means for you

These two features are designed to improve your everyday agronomic workflow in Agworld. Whether you’re creating prescriptions during a grower visit or are fine-tuning nutrition recommendations in the office, Agworld helps you make the best possible recommendations for your growers.
