Agworld is pleased to announce that Andrew Paine and Tim King are joining our US team. Their experience is a great asset for us right now, making sure that both the sales and customer success teams are able to handle the high workload and maintain our industry-famous service levels.
Andrew Paine is an Ann Arbor, MI, native who holds a BA in Philosophy, Political Science and Economics from Denison University and has a wealth of experience in sales management. Andrew is experienced in the agricultural industry through spending over 3 years with FarmLogs, most recently as Senior Director of Partnerships and Growth. As VP of Revenue for North America with Agworld, Andrew will lead the North American sales team and ensure its alignment with the market and Agworld’s target audience.
Andrew: “After I finished my degree, I worked in a couple of different sales-oriented roles for companies in both Washington DC and, after moving back home, in Ann Arbor, MI. I then got the opportunity to become part of the agricultural industry through joining FarmLogs, where I helped grow the sales team from 4 to over 25 people in three years’ time. I found that I really enjoy working in agriculture as every farmer is a fiercely independent small business owner that has to live off their own productivity while also feeding the rest of the country, which never seizes to impress me. I look forward to continuing my involvement with agriculture at Agworld and helping growers improve their productivity and bottom line through the Agworld platform.”
Tim King hails from the Flint, MI area and holds a BASc in Business Administration and General Management from Michigan State University while also completing the university’s turf grass program. After working on golf courses for a number of years, Tim started his career in business operations, initially with Maxim Healthcare for 8 years, followed by 3½ years with Farm Logs in Ann Arbor, MI, as Director of Sales and Account Management. As VP of Operations for North America with Agworld, Tim will lead the North American customer success team and ensure Agworld’s service level remains industry-leading.
Tim: “As soon as I started working in agriculture, at FarmLogs, I immediately liked the industry. The conversations with growers and other stakeholders are so different from what I was used to and people tend to be real genuine and friendly. And so, once I left FarmLogs, I knew I wanted to remain in the agricultural industry if I could. After an interim consulting position for a short period, I got in contact with Agworld and am glad to say that I am now part of the Agworld team. I look forward to learning the ins and outs of the Agworld’s Platform and work on expanding the range of services available for our users. And, if any grower is looking at converting a few acres of crops into a nice golf course, some advice is always available in return for a couple of tee times…ha!”
