I’m excited to announce that Agworld clients across the United States and Canada just gained another way to take their farm information with them wherever they go, with the Agworld Android app now available in North America!
Farming doesn’t stop when you lose cell service, and neither should access to the information you need. Agworld for Android supports online and offline functionality, allowing you to access important farm information and capture data while you’re out in the field. When you’re back in range, simply sync your information with your secure Agworld account.
That means you can keep working whether you’re standing in a field, moving between farms or back in the office, without having to wait until you have a reliable connection.
Key Agworld workflows on your Android device
The North American Android app launches with the same feature set currently available to Android users in Australia and New Zealand. You can use interactive farm maps to navigate your operation and view recommendations and observations created by your agronomist. Field insights provide quick access to information such as yield data, total costs to date and planned versus actual gross margins directly from the Maps page.
The app also helps you stay on top of day-to-day work. View your to-do, completed jobs, access the product library to look up product labels and SDS information, and convert individual fields into actuals from recommendations covering multiple fields. Rainfall and harvest information can also be recorded directly from your Android device, helping ensure important farm records are captured when and where the work happens.
Built for working in the field
The Android app has been designed around a simple, user-friendly mobile experience, making it easy to navigate the information and workflows you use regularly. Most importantly, it gives growers more flexibility over the devices they use to manage their operation. If you already use an Android device for everything else, you no longer need a separate device to access Agworld while you’re away from your computer.
And because information is synced through the Agworld cloud, your team can continue working from the same connected farm data whether they’re accessing Agworld from an Android or iOS device. North American users can now download Agworld from the Google Play Store and start accessing their Agworld information from their Android device. It’s another step towards making Agworld available wherever the work happens; in the office, on the road or out in the field.
