Davis weather station integration now live & rainfall monitoring now available on iOS

Davis weather station integration now live & rainfall monitoring now available on iOS

Agworld continues to expand the weather capabilities for its users, with two major updates designed to give growers and advisors easier access to accurate, farm-specific weather data.

We’re excited to announce that Agworld now supports a direct integration with Davis weather stations, and rainfall monitoring is currently only available on iOS devices. These updates are part of our ongoing focus on helping customers streamline record keeping, improve operational visibility, and reduce manual data entry using trusted on-farm weather data.

Connect your Davis weather stations to Agworld

Agworld growers can now link their Davis weather station accounts directly to Agworld, enabling automated weather data capture for spray records and rainfall tracking. Once connected, Agworld can automatically pull weather observations from nearby linked Davis stations to populate weather records on activities, helping users maintain more accurate and compliant operational records. The weather station integration also enables weather data to be added to Agworld observations created by your connected Agronomist

The Davis integration is available globally across all Agworld regions, including Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the United States.

Key Benefits
  • Automatically populate weather records using on-farm Davis weather data
  • Reduce manual weather data entry
  • Improve the accuracy and consistency of spray records
  • Link weather stations to farms for automated rainfall monitoring
  • Use existing Davis infrastructure already deployed on-farm
  • Access functionality across both web and mobile workflows
Rainfall Monitoring Now Available on iOS

We’re also pleased to announce that rainfall monitoring is now available on iOS. Users can assign linked weather stations to farms and view rainfall data directly inside the Agworld app on their iPhone or iPad. Rainfall data updates daily and provides a simple way to monitor conditions using real weather station measurements.

This functionality was previously available on web and is now being extended to iOS to support customers working in the field.

Built Around Real Farm Data

Accurate weather information plays a critical role in day-to-day farm operations, particularly for spray compliance and operational decision-making. By integrating directly with weather stations like Davis, Agworld helps growers and their connected advisors work with weather observations collected directly from their farms rather than relying solely on regional estimates or manual recording processes.

In Australia, the Agworld - Origo weather station has been live for a number of months already, and the Agworld - Davis weather station integration now offers even more growers the opportunity to link their weather station to their Agworld account. And the best part? We’ll keep adding more weather station providers to this list, so stay tuned!
