Improved parts tracking & hazardous materials reporting now available in FarmReady apps

At Agworld we partner with businesses who create tools that help growers run safer, more efficient operations. Our friends at FarmReady have just released some great updates across their Bolt and Shed apps, designed to improve equipment maintenance workflows and simplify hazardous materials compliance.

These enhancements make it easier for farming businesses to manage machinery parts and maintain accurate hazardous materials records across their operations.

Bolt update: smarter machine parts tracking

Keeping machinery operating at peak performance requires accurate parts tracking and easy access to maintenance information. FarmReady's latest Bolt enhancements introduce improved visibility and organisation of machine parts across your fleet.

What's new in Bolt:
  • Fleet-wide parts lists Users can now create and manage a centralized list of parts used across their machinery fleet. This provides clearer oversight of commonly used components and supports proactive maintenance planning.
  • Machine-specific part allocation Parts can be linked directly to individual machines, ensuring teams know exactly which components belong to which asset, reducing guesswork during servicing.
  • QR code access in the field When scanning a machine's QR code via the Bolt app, users can now instantly access the associated parts list. This makes in-field servicing faster and more accurate, particularly during busy periods.
Shed Update: enhanced hazardous materials reporting

Accurate hazardous materials management remains a critical compliance and safety requirement for farming businesses across Australia, New Zealand and the USA. FarmReady has expanded Shed's reporting capabilities to make compliance easier and more accessible.

What's new in Shed:
  • Printable hazardous materials registers Users can now generate storage-specific hazardous materials reports suitable for printing and on-site display. These registers are ideal for workshops, chemical storage areas, and other operational locations where hard-copy access may be required.
  • Improved product export functionality The updated CSV export now includes additional Safety Data Sheet (SDS) information, including:
    1. Whether an SDS is attached to a product
    2. The SDS issue date

Combined with existing QR code access to storage inventories and SDS documentation, these enhancements support improved workplace safety and emergency preparedness.

Supporting Safer, More Efficient Farm Operations

From improved machine parts tracking to stronger hazardous materials reporting, these FarmReady updates deliver practical benefits that help you:

  • Minimise downtime through better maintenance planning
  • Improve compliance documentation and audit readiness
  • Provide your team with instant access to critical information in the field to improve safety across your operation
